Immediately after giving his heart and life to the Lord at the age of 16, Jeremy was blessed by the Lord with his vocal and musical talents. Jeremy then began using those talents to lead students to Jesus Christ. God also blessed Jeremy with the ability to write songs that would encourage and strengthen the Body of Christ.

Jeremy began ministering to young adults, leading worship for his church youth group. The youth ministry provided an opportunity to audition as lead singer in a local Christian rock band. Jeremy ministered with that group for a few years, but as his ministry focus grew, Jeremy and the drummer branched out and formed a new band, Blind Drive, that better fit his style and heart for ministry.

Blind Drive signed a recording, publishing and artist development contract with an independent record label in Atlanta Georgia. Through Blind Drive, the Lord gave Jeremy many opportunities to travel and share the Gospel all over the country. Blind Drive led hundreds to a personal relationship with Jesus during their concert performances and the ministry time; fulfilling Jeremy’s main passion – using his musical and pastoral gifts to reach those in need of the Gospel.

Blind Drive was privileged to appear with artists Edwin McCain, Switchfoot, Third Day, The Waiting, Fastball, Splendor, and Train, playing to crowds up to 50,000 strong. Jeremy will tell you the crowd size is not as important as the number of lives changed through his ministry. Jeremy has always felt blessed to be able to minister to Christian and non-Christian crowds while worshiping in concert. “The Lord went before us and made the way”, he says as he reminisces about this time in his life.

Through his experiences with Blind Drive, the Lord never stopped teaching Jeremy. Jeremy has always guarded his calling; constantly surrounding himself with Godly musicians that shared his heart for ministry. His concern has always been avoiding traps, which would make his ministry something different than pointing people to Jesus.

Over the years, Jeremy has felt the Lord’s call to write songs that bless the Body of Christ; reminding believers they have the Holy Spirit living within them and challenging them to see the world not through their own eyes, but rather through “Kingdom Eyes”. Jeremy’s ministry challenges believers to see it is time for the sleeping giant called the Church to rise and walk in faith and take God at His word, believing He can use us to do the Greater Things (John 14:12) He has called us to do in this short time we are on earth.

In late 2008, Jeremy began to feel the Lord leading him to record his first solo album. One of his first thoughts was to see if Jason Hoard (Fee, Natalie Grant, John Waller) would be interested in recording and producing the album. After a few conversations, Jason agreed to take the project on. Through these events and the extreme encouragement of his home church, the fundraising began. The church jumped in with both feet and began giving to the project and sending out support letters to friends and family members all over the country. After almost a year of fundraising, and the time had come to begin recording, we were still $10,000 short of our goal. Jeremy came to a crossroad and prayed, “Lord if this is not Your will for me to do this album, and I’ve been doing all of this on my own, Lord forgive me, and I’ll give every dollar back! But if this is Your will, I completely trust in You to provide the funds in Your perfect timing.” About a week later, Jeremy got an anonymous check in the mail for $10,000! (Read Proverbs 19:21 and Proverbs 3:5&6)

After this monumental confirmation from the Lord, Jeremy called Jason and told him “we’re ready to go!” The blessings continued to come as the recording process began. Recording Artist John Waller (Fireproof/While I’m Waiting) agreed to sing with him on the title track for the record “Greater Things.” And after recording the song “For The Glory of God,” Jason told Jeremy that, “we need to get an extremely strong female vocalist to sing with you on this track.” So Jeremy thought of who his favorite female vocalist was in all of Christian music, and he came to Kim Walker (Jesus Culture). It just happened that Jeremy’s studio drummer Josh Fisher also played drums for Kim! So he asked Josh if he could ask Kim if she would be interested in singing on the record, and he did. The next day she called and said yes! These are just a few of the amazing things God has done in making this record.

Jeremy’s heart is for every believer to walk in the complete Gospel of the Kingdom, the Abundant Life, which only comes from an intimate daily relationship with Jesus. That’s the goal of this record, and that’s what Jeremy is trusting in God to accomplish, His way, in His timing and through His power!
